updated on March 23, 2026

North Vancouver can vary when it comes to the styles of venues you’re looking for. You’ve got the more mountain-ous locales, or the city plus waterfront view venues! One of the biggest factors of course when starting your search is to also have a guest list maximum in mind! We’ll try to mention these details in our list below!

*Note: Pricing might be subject to change - make sure you secure your own quote from venues early on and keep in mind that you’ll have to factor in their in-house catering for most places!

1. Polygon Gallery

One of the most modern and convenient locations in North Vancouver is the Polygon Gallery. Located on the Upper Floor, this event gallery is in the heart of the building and features a fully retractable glass wall facing south, which opens onto a private, covered balcony. Apart from the beautiful venue, the entire staff is wonderful and easy to work with too.

Recent review: “The team at Grouse went above and beyond on every detail to make our wedding day magical.

Beth assisted us in every way possible to plan and execute the more beautiful day. There really was no stopping her from doing everything possible to make our day exactly what we wanted.Laura was an amazing asset to ensure everyone got down the aisle and things ran smoothly. Reviews/comments: “Had an amazing wedding here. The views are spectacular. Plenty of parking for guests and lots of room in the venue. If you are lucky enough to work with Juliana then you will have the best wedding. Seriously she is amazing and always caring about the guests having the best experience. They wanted to charge for out cake cutting so watch out for that. Having to tie your own chair ribbons was also not discussed ahead of time.”

Between the industrial vibes and open space, there is a lot of potential to see how it can be transformed, and we were able to manage both the ceremony and reception in the same space (with some pipe + drape, the reception was hidden in between).”

“The Wallace is truly an amazing venue to host your next wedding or event!! Their open concept allows you to create magic in this space. With the right team (aka decor), you can make this space anything you can imagine! Don't get me started on their outdoor space!!  It is so beautiful!! Rachelle is amazing to work with and is truly down to earth and easy to communicate with. Her and her team are amazing at what they do and their quick responses make for easy planning and connecting.”

They were super helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Visiting, booking, and coordinating with the venue was really straightforward. Frequently Asked Questions

  • It really is one of the best areas in Metro Vancouver for this. The combination of mountain backdrops, ocean views, waterfront heritage buildings, and lush forests gives you so many options within a small radius. If you're shooting at Grouse or Seymour, the alpine scenery is extraordinary. If you're at the Shipyards or Polygon Gallery, the industrial-meets-waterfront aesthetic is incredibly special as well.

  • Pricing varies widely depending on the venue style, size, and day of the week. Based on the venues in our list, you can expect $6,000–$7,750+ for full-buyout event spaces (Wallace Venue, Pipe Shop, Polygon Gallery), and more for custom packages with catering included at hotel venues like the Pinnacle and Lonsdale Quay. Always request a detailed quote that factors in catering, bar minimums, and any additional fees.

  • June through September tends to offer the most reliable weather for outdoor ceremonies on the North Shore. That said, North Vancouver has beautiful venues for every season — a cozy mountain wedding at Grouse in the winter, or a moody, romantic ceremony at the Pipe Shop in the fall can be just as stunning.
