Recent review: “My husband and I were beyond pleased with all of the staff, the venue, the food, and the service provided by the Fairmont. We had our ceremony and reception at the Chalet and it was so magical. We had about 40 guests and the space was the perfect size to accommodate everyone comfortably. Wendy was our main point of contact during the planning and was amazing to work with, she answered all of my questions promptly, professionally, and kindly. The Fairmont truly made our wedding week a time we will never forget. If you or anyone you know if thinking of getting married in Whistler, the Fairmont is the place to do it! Recent review: “We got married at the gorgeous Nita Lake Lodge this July. It was wonderful to be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the village. The hotel rooms were absolutely stunning. We stayed in a lakeview studio and then the rainforest suite. We wanted our dog to be part of our wedding so it was great to be able to bring her along to such a pet friendly hotel. We utilized all of the amazing amenities: pool, hot tub, spa, bikes, canoe, paddle boards. The spa was one of the best I have ever been to with private roof top hot tubs and a steam room. The food was absolutely incredible - I can't say enough good things about the chef! We will definitely be returning to Nita in the future. If you are considering a wedding here I would definitely recommend it - Kathryn and Susan were wonderful to work with especially during the ups and downs of the pandemic.”

Reviews/comments: “This is one of the most stunning venues in Whistler hands down. We wanted something with character and life, which the SLCC is bursting with. Our wedding was destination so we had only seen the venue through photos but when we were able to visit a few months before we were blown away with the beauty of it. The staff were extremely accommodating with us and went above and beyond our "high maintenance" requests! The day played out beautifully and everything was truly magical. I can not thank the SLCC and everyone who played a part of our big day enough. We had our ceremony on the mezzanine outside and our reception in the Istken Hall which are absolutely stunning. It was nice to have everything in one venue so our guests were comfortable while we left for photos in-between the ceremony and reception. The food was delicious and the service was amazing as we had a plated dinner and open bar. I would recommend this venue over and over again for anyone's wedding!”

Reviews/comments: “An experience we'll never forget - We traveled from Ontario to capture our engagement in the mountains; one of the best decisions we ever made! It was foggy/rainy the whole week; and we were so fortunate that Blackcomb Helicopters was able to accommodate our request to move the date to a Saturday. The weather was perfect!
The staff and pilot were friendly, flexible, responsive, and absolutely amazing to work with! And the views - stunning! We absolutely recommend a helicopter excursion/photoshoot. We are fortunate to not only have captured our love in the most scenic place, but were able to build a memory that will last our lifetime!”
